Inspired by the Pseudo-Pupil Effect
The pseudo-pupil is an optical effect found in the compound eyes of creatures such as mantises and dragonflies.
Each facet reflects and absorbs light differently depending on the viewing angle, causing a dark spot to appear and shift with the observer.
10PM draws inspiration from this phenomenon to create a subtle sense of presence through light and movement.

The light glides through the surface of the cube and mirrors your movement.
02. Precision-machined aluminum
Machined from solid aluminum using advanced 5-axis CNC machining, each cube features more than two thousand precisely angled apertures. Together, they form the optical structure that gives 10PM its shifting appearance.
03. Custom-tuned glow
Rather than relying on standard RGB color mixing, 10PM uses custom-tuned LEDs developed to produce a carefully selected range of warm tones, shaped by the character and atmosphere we envisioned for the light.

Rather than pressing a button, 10PM responds to a simple double knock. The control remains hidden within the form, allowing the interaction to become part of the experience itself. Familiar in everyday life yet uncommon in consumer electronics, the gesture feels natural, deliberate, and memorable.
